Paddlers must be members of a local canoe club
Access is for slalom training only
Users must have passed the Lee Valley White Water Centre (LVWWC) Legacy competency test. Where this cannot be proved, England Talent Programme staff will be able to assess competency levels and may refuse access should this competency not be up to the level required.
Access is granted to these sessions provided that users agree to abide by all relevant and applicable British Canoeing rules, regulations and codes of conduct and relevant LVWWC user regulations and agreements.
Users are expected to be mindful of other centre users such as respecting other sessions on the lake and only paddling on the Legacy Course within the times of their session.
The LVWWC will close promptly at 20:30 and all water users are requested to be off site before this time.
There will be a session cost which will be due at the point of booking and payable only by bank transfer.
These are England Slalom Talent Programme Southern RTA sessions. Capacity is limited to 25 boats and priority for places will initially go to Southern RTA paddlers. Priority will then be given to those paying via standing order and then allocated on a first come, first served basis to those making individual bookings when each block of slots is released.
Users making monthly bookings will have to book and pay one month in advance (contact ).
Although British Canoeing staff may be present to help facilitate some sessions, users must agree to be responsible for their own safety.
In the event of any cancellation British Canoeing will endeavour to inform affected paddlers with one weeks’ notice and provide credit notes against future Legacy slots.
